A young sorcerer is approached by two computer scientists from a software giant in a faraway land who need a little "Magic Code" on their programming team, but it's not quite the easy path to stardom he's been promised . . .
Dark and light, long and short, brooding and whimsical – there's a lot of variety to be found among these ten stories, but they have at least two things in common. They're delightfully entertaining. And they're very strange.
If you're a reader looking for both, you'll find them in abundance in these strange tales.

A washed up magician. A werewolf. Barbie dolls. A dead cat and more. All are building blocks used in countless stories over countless years. The real trick is in using them in novel ways that are surprising and pleasing to readers.I enjoyed reading this collection immensely. Many of these stories were also surprisingly touching and magical. I look forward to reading more from this author.
One criticism, and it's quite often one that I take off a star for, is the proofreading. While there aren't a horrendous number- there ARE too many. This author should take this up with his publisher.
